Is Chapstick Enough?

By  |

With the cold, frigid air among us, it becomes increasingly difficult to keep our skin moisturized. Also, the lips have one of the thinnest layers of skin, so guess what part of your body takes one of the hardest hits? That’s right, the lips! I hate to break it to you, but if you haven’t already noticed, sometimes Carmex just isn’t enough. Your lips say more about you than you think. Dry, flakey lips can allude to dehydration and having cracked lips can lead to cold sores and discoloration. You should want to take care of your lips and one of the best recommendations that I ever received was to start using a lip scrub. I exfoliate my lips a few times a week (or as needed) and one of the sugar scrubs that I would recommend is Pink Lemonade by Good Earth Beauty (pictured). I love the flavor, the smell and the way it leaves my parted lips so soft, succulent and smooth. This scrub is all natural, gentle, 100% vegan and its packed with some of my favorite essential oils. This includes coconut, almond, sunflower, and jojoba! If dry, cracked lips aren’t your thing, then definitely look into a quality lip scrub. I can assure you’ll see the benefit!
